The traditional Gift-Giving to one’s alma mater began from the first PSHS scholars of Class ‘69. They proposed donating at least P100,000.00 each year towards upgrading the salaries of faculty members and making teaching conditions comparable to those in private schools. Then, the following batches followed this tradition by giving class gifts to the PSHS Foundation at its 20th graduation anniversary. This program has been getting weaker over the years.
